Take a bite out of this shocking Big Apple makeover.
Brynn Whitfield debuted a dramatic hair transformation this week that may leave some Real Housewives of New York City fans with their jaws on the floor.
The Bravo star—who is known for enviable long and very full head of hair—is now rocking a super-short bob after chopping off nearly a foot of her brunette locks.
Brynn showed off her new look for the first time on Oct. 8 at the 2024 Glamour Women of the Year party in NYC before hitting the red carpet again the next night at the New York City Ballet's 2024 Fall Gala at Lincoln Center.
For her most recent appearance, the 37-year-old donned a black ballgown that featured a structured corset and peek-a-boo fringe on the sides showing off her legs. She completed the va-va-voom look with a red lip and her newly short hair in curls.
As for what inspired Brynn to ditch her signature long locks and try a bold new style?
"Last time I did this, it was a massive breakup," she exclusively told E! News Oct. 9 at the New York City Ballet bash. "There's no breakup." (Watch E! News tonight at 11 p.m. for more celebrity interviews from the event.)
As it turns out, the spur-of-the-moment decision was made entirely impulsive.
"I was in L.A. with my really good girlfriend," she explained. "She was getting her haircut at Paul Jean on Robertson and he was like, 'Your hair's holding you back.' I was like, 'Tell me more, Frenchman.' And he just cut it off."
That’s not to say it was love at first sight.
"I immediately regretted it," Brynn admitted. "I cried. But now I finally like it."
